HERD Tights in Lilac

Tights made as they should be, in our dreams!. No plastic, no nylon, but with excellent elasticity. Knit in a ribbed stitch in our finer Herd Wool with it’s natural elasticity for excellent wearability. We have stitched in biodegradable elastic at the waistband. These are pure warmth and comfort, and must be tried to be believed.. Designed by leading stylist Rachel Bakewell.. Proudly made from soil to skin in the U.K, our knitwear is born of a unique narrative rooted in its place of origin.. Detail – The Tights are ribbed, with diamond pointelle detail down the front.. Wool – The Tights is made from our very own fully traceable, super soft Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool, which we source ourselves at a fair price from farmers in N.W England, and then process and make into yarn within 150 miles of the farms. Some shares are undyed, using blends of cream and brown Bluefaced Leicester fleece. When dyed, we only use plant extracts and naturally occurring mordants.. Trims & packaging: The elastic is biodegradable, buttons are made from nuts, our labels are 100% cotton, so your knit is fully circular. Packaging is recycled and recyclable and stickers are compostable.. Washing – Wool requires minimal washing. Spot clean and air, or hand wash in cool water if absolutely necessary to preserve the natural oils in the wool.. Size & fit – Take your usual clothing size. Model wears Small.. Colours – Available in Ecru, Anthracite and Lilac.
